Its core engine relies on the synergy between Darkrai and Igglybuff, using Igglybuff to consistently put the opponent’s Active Pokémon to Sleep and stall their momentum. This early-game stall is further bolstered by Starting Plains, which provides crucial defensive utility to keep Igglybuff alive longer, giving you the breathing room needed while Terapagos ex attempts to gather three different Energy types. However, the strategy is hindered by notable pacing and consistency issues. The complete lack of Energy acceleration makes Terapagos ex inherently slow and difficult to manually set up.
